A New Chapter in Leadership

The Department of Immigration proudly announces the promotion of sixteen executive officers, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing mission to strengthen national security and modernize immigration leadership.
During this morning’s Executive Leadership Promotion Ceremony at the British Colonial Hotel, Mr. Stephen LaRoda was officially appointed Director of Immigration, succeeding Mr. William Pratt.
Mr. Sean Gordon now serves as Acting Deputy Director, joining Director LaRoda and the newly appointed executive team in steering the Department forward. Also recognized were eight officers promoted to the rank of Assistant Director of Immigration and six appointed as Acting Assistant Directors.
