Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Bahamian citizen.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
- Possess a clean police record with no criminal convictions.
- Hold a minimum of two (2) Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (B.G.C.S.E) passes at Grade C or above, one of which must be English Language.
Training Programme
Successful applicants will be appointed as Recruits/Trainee Immigration Officers and must successfully complete:
- Four (4) months of formal classroom training; and
- Eight (8) months of supervised on-the-job training.
Applicants must complete The Bahamas Government Public Service Commission Application Form (PSC Form 7) in duplicate and submit it along with the required supporting documents to one of the following locations:

Required Supporting Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:
- Certified copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of the biographical data page of a valid Passport
- Recent Police Certificate of Character
- Recent Medical Certificate
- Copy of National Insurance Card
- Copies of academic certificates and/or High School Diploma
- Two (2) Character References
- Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs

Entry-Level Salaries

| Trainee Administrative Cadet | Minimum of a Diploma, normally representing two-thirds or more of a programme of study | $10,700.00 – $23,450.00 |
| Janitor / Messenger | Minimum of three (3) or four (4) B.J.C passes | $10,700.00 – $21,050.00 |
