Chaplaincy Week 2025 Launches with Inaugural Church Service
The Department of Immigration’s Chaplaincy Unit held its 1st Annual Church Service on Wednesday, 18th June 2025, at Transformation Ministries International under the theme “Embracing the Change.” This service officially launched Chaplaincy Week 2025, an initiative aimed at promoting reflection, wellness, and unity within the Department.
In his remarks, Director of Immigration, Mr. William Pratt, commended the Chaplaincy Unit for its vision and noted the importance of the theme.
“As Officer Lloyd rightly said, renewal is essential. In the face of constant change, we must renew our commitment to unity, integrity, and service,” he stated. “That strength comes from within—through purpose and spiritual grounding.”
Chaplaincy Week continues with staff devotionals, wellness activities, and outreach, reinforcing the Department’s commitment to holistic support through faith and service.
