Director of Immigration receives COVID-19 vaccination

Today, Director of Immigration Mr. Clarence A. Russell led by example as he received the COVID-19 Vaccination at Loyola Hall, New Providence. He was accompanied by with other Immigration Officers, who also volunteered to receive the injection as a part of the Government’s voluntary option, for the uniformed branches.
When asked why now, Director Russell explained, “Because it’s the right thing to do, as we protect ourselves and those we hold dear to us”.
Essential Service and Front Line Uniformed Officers are encouraged to voluntarily follow suit, as they seek to combat this deadly disease among the Ranks, as well as for the protection from harm, for their loved ones.
