Immigration Officers Recognized at Marine Conservation Workshop
Immigration Officers Joshua Johnson, Antonya Lockhart, and Dominic Taylor successfully participated in the Marine Conservation for Law Enforcement Officers Workshop, a three-day training initiative focused on environmental protection and inter-agency cooperation.
The Closing Ceremony was held on Friday, 20 June 2025, at HMBS Coral Harbour, where the officers were formally recognized for their commitment and engagement. Also in attendance was Chief Immigration Officer Derron Brooks, showing support on behalf of the Department.
Notably, Immigration Officer Gr. II Antonya Lockhart was awarded “Most Improved Participant” of the cohort, which included officers from other government agencies such as Bahamas Customs & Excise Department and others.
This training reflects the Department’s continued commitment to professional development and cross-sector collaboration in support of national enforcement priorities.
